Advocates Office Not A Commercial Establishment: HIGH COURT.

Merry Chistmas to All You Reader. Advocate/Lawyers profession are Noble Profession. Let every Advocate may practise ethically and behave morally in the society to protect the sanctity of the profession. Recently with regards to Electricity Bill Charges to the offices of Advocates all Electricity Distribution company like MSEB, ADANI, TATA etc who were treating Advocates offices are Commercial offices and used to charge electric bills on that category but to the Interim Order of the Bench of High court, Aurangabad presided by Justice Shri R V Ghuge & Justice Shri Y G Khobragade who passed an order on 11.12.2023 in Civil Writ Petition, treated the Advocates Offices are Non Commercial Establishment like Normal Residential place and directed all Electricity Disteibution companies to issue bill by such manner. Sigh of relief to honest and hard working public spirited lawyers. For litigants, their litigation fees can be reduced by the order of the High Court as Advocates may charge lesser fees as lesser office expences. For public interest by Ad. Anil Bugde.
