Not taking the swift action by the office of Control Room Office (CRO) appointed by the office of Director General of Police, office of Commissionerate of Police (CP), and by the office of Superintendent of Police (SP) can lead to death of the victim, complainant who normally sought information by quick manner for to asking urgent help from all these police assistance group (CRO)
Recently Government had introduced unified system of seeking help by the victim by contacting on the phone number of 112 and then after contacting on this 112 number the call of the victim goes to the office of call taker which is having unique system of police, named as Maharashtra Emergency Response System MERS as their office is located at Mahape, Navi Mumbai and this office after recording the detail case of the victim, report the case to the concerned Commissionerate/SP office e.g. if incident of molestation of woman is taken place at Vashi and at night victim called 112 help, then the office of call taker informed the incident to the CRO office Wireless at Navi Mumbai Police and then Navi Mumbai Police tracked the place of the victim and provide help to such victim person, but really it happens or not is a matter of concern.
During the time of Terror Attack upon Mumbai known as 26/11 terror attack at that time no doubt number of innocent citizens have died in the said attack but also number of upright police officers like Mr. Karkare, Anti Terrorist Squad, Mr. Kamthe, Addl. C.P. East Region, Mr. Salaskar, Encounter man and his other team members also lost their lives in while performing their public duties.
For the purpose of knowing the importance of Control Room Office CRO appointed by the Police, we need to know the truth behind how these policemen work from the office of CRO, as per the book published Ms. Kamthe and Mr. Mushriff IG and of also other reports of the agencies, before the attack upon the vehicle of Mr. Karkare ATS his Quallis Car, and when his team has decided to provide the help to the cama hospital trapped people where even one IPS police officer Addl. CP Mr. Datar was got injured by the attack of terrorist and these officers were decided to combat the attack and hence as per the reports published by Ms. Kamthe that Mr. Karkare had asked the then CRO Mumbai Police Office at 11.34pm on 26.11.2008 to provide them Extra Police Force to cover up their team as they were few police officials in the Qallis Car, but as per the info the CRO office had not provided prompt help to his team till 12.47am, as almost delay of more than 1 hour and 15 minutes caused to receive them extra police help and hence due to such negligent, careless approach of the office of CRO the ATS team of Mr. Karkare met with those Terrorist Kasab and Abu Ismail on the rear side of the Cama Hospital and those terrorist shoot the entire team of the ATS with their bullets. At 12.04pm the terrorist made an attack on the vehicle of ATS team. Even before the incident that local people also informed the movements of the terrorist to the office of CRO by dialing 100 number but as per the sources no action was taken by the office of CRO Mumbai Police. As per the information at that time CRO office was in the hands of then Joint Commissioner of Police Mr. Rakesh Maria.
Normally the provisions of making the office of CRO has set up for to take prompt action upon the complaints of the Victim as for them it is difficult for them at which police station they required to report the crime and if victim report the crime incident to the office of CRO then the CRO office with proper Log book entry report the crime to the actual police station under which the crime has taken place and then by using this method citizen public may not face difficulties from any police station, which are not taking the complaints of the victim forthwith and hence Justice can be done to the matter of the complaints of the victim, normally delivery of justice is with the Judiciary but by lodging the complaint against the accused victim can secure relief of stopping of further crime wrong treatment caused by the hands of wrong doers.
Be alert and take care report the crime to the CRO/Dial 112/Dial 100 if local police station is not taking the notice of the crime committed upon them by the accused wrong doers criminals.
